Square and rectangle stickers, made to the millimetre
Most stickers that do a job are square or rectangular: a service sticker on an air-conditioner, a label on a toolbox, a warning on a machine, a QR code on a counter, a business-card sticker in every order. Clean square edges give you the most room for wording, and the size fits the space instead of the other way round.
Choose a popular size or type in your own width and height, anywhere from 50mm to 480mm. Standard stickers are printed on outdoor vinyl with a gloss laminate, rated for about 2 years outside. For stickers that live in the sun, like on hot water systems, air-conditioning units, bins and equipment, choose heavy-duty: 4-year vinyl with a UV and scratch-resistant laminate. Sizes are width × height in millimetres, and any size from 50mm to 480mm each way is available. Corners are square-cut. For rounded corners or a shaped sticker, choose die-cut stickers.
